What does TheFarmOS actually do?+
It turns your MYOB or Xero export into a forward, enterprise-by-enterprise cashflow plan. You see which enterprise makes money versus carries the others, the month your bank balance gets tight, and how your budget tracks against actuals month by month — plus a ration builder and an AI advisor that reads your plan.
How does the AI advisor work?+
When you ask a question, your forward plan and farm location are passed as context to Anthropic's Claude models, which pressure-test the plan with relevant seasonal and regional knowledge. It's decision support to review with your accountant or bank manager — not financial advice, and not a replacement for them.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Your data is tied to your account and protected by row-level security, so no other user can see it. We don't sell it, aggregate it with other farms, or share it with banks or agents. You can delete your account at any time.
How long does setup take?+
About 30 minutes to an hour with last year's MYOB or Xero export handy. Import it, map your accounts to enterprises, and your forward plan seeds from your real history — fully editable from there.
Is it built for Australian farmers?+
Yes — built by a working cattle and sheep producer in north-east Victoria. Australian financial year and GST, enterprise structures that match how mixed farms actually run, and local weather for the season signal.
What stage is TheFarmOS at?+
The core — forward plan, budget vs actual, cashflow, RationOS and the AI advisor — is live and working today. We're signing up our founding cohort now, and early pricing is locked in for those members. Bigger features like MLA Farm Monitor benchmarking, live market prices, PDF reports and live accounting sync are on the roadmap, and roll out to your plan as they ship.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel anytime. If you're within the 14-day free trial you won't be charged. If you've already been billed you keep access to the end of the current month.
